Basics: The Beginning

After you purchase the game, fully install it and make an account, your ready to go... In this section you will learn about how to log in, creating a character and a name... and then finaly how to start moving around in Lego Universe!

After watching the videos you will arrive here, at the log in screen. You will need to make an account.... but we all describe that here. Please enter your username and password and click the blue arrow button to continue.

You should now see this screen. Did you know you can have up to 4 minifigures on one account. Choose a not yet created player and click the blue button.
*To select simply click on a minifigure.

Now you can create your very own minifigure. Your minifigure design comes random. You can click any part of the minifigure to edit it, or you can click the blue arrow button to continue on to the next step. Also to try random combinations, click the button at the bottom of the screen.

After selecting something to edit, click, hold and drag left and right to select something you do like. Click they style button to change the item, click the color button to change the color.

Finally, when you have found something you like, click the blue arrow button.

And last but not least we must add a name. You minifigure can have a combination name or a custom name. To create a combination name, simply scroll up and down using the arrows to create a three word name. There is also a random name button. If you would like a custom name, please enter it up above in the bar. Spaces are not allowed, sorry.

Also, please be aware that Mythrans need to approve all custom names in Lego Universe. Once you submit your custom name, it will be sent directly to the Lego Universe support to be approved. For now, you will need to get a temporary name from by choosing three words to make a name. Your name will change as soon as it is approved.

After doing that, you are ready to go on to the next step. Click the blue arrow button.

You will now return to the minifigure screen where you should now see your own minifigure there. Now simply click the blue button with the arrow icon to start playing.

Moving and Getting Around

Moving is important in the game, if you haven't guessed already. Simply use your arrow keys to get around.

UP: You walk forward
LEFT: You turn left
RIGHT: You turn right
DOWN: You turn around and walk backwards

A lot of smashing may be required in this game, to smash, simply press ALT on you keyboard. This includes any smashables, enemys and more.

To jump, press the space bars. To jump forward, press the forward key and the space at the same time.

To double jump, press space twice. TIP: For a maximum jump distance, tap space while going forward, and then tap space again at the last moment before you fall.

Mission:Your Creative Spark

Mission Guide: Venture Explorer: Your Creative Spark

This is your very first required Mission on-board the Venture Explorer. You will be rewarded ver well!

Mission: EASY Rewards: REQUIRED

First, go speak to bob, the waving minifigure directly infront of you, at the start of the game. He well give you your first mission, as pictured below:

You simply, to complete this mission, need to gather six imagination orbs on either sides. Use the left side of your mouse to look around the Venture Explorer. There will be three orbs on each side. Go get them and then speak to Bob once again. 

Congrats! You have finished your first mission and have unlocked imagination! You will use this for many other things. You have also been awarded coins, and Universe Points!
